100% Taiwanese Oolong Tea

Black Pearl is a charcoal roasted Taiwanese Oolong. It is similar to Eventide, if you are familiar with that tea. Oolong teas, like Black Pearl, are traditionally brewed multiple times to enjoy the changing flavor profile of each infusion. Oolongs are prized teas among connoisseurs because they are the mature leaves of the tea shrub, rather than the fresh new buds that become all other types of tea, white, green, yellow, and black. It’s because of this layered flavor and size that multiple infusions are recommended for balled oolongs for a full flavor experience. Reinfusing oolong teas is a delightful experience that I hope you try. You will notice that the leaves unfurl further with each subsequent infusion and release slightly different flavor. Balled oolongs can be reinfused up to 4 times. The 150g tin makes 43-128 cups of tea.

Rare leaves are uncommon single estate teas.

Like precious gems, these teas are carefully selected for their exceptional beauty and flavor. Each tea is hand picked and finished to produce the most exquisite tea experience.
