Mariposa Bangle

Named for the Spanish word for butterfly, Mariposa sends its wings around the wrist in this rhodium-plated bangle, cubic zirconia tracing the pave while mother of pearl lends its shifting, watery glow. Cool metal, pale shimmer: a study in quiet iridescence.

Hand-finished over a brass core, it opens on a hinge for an easy fit over the hand and sits flat enough to stack. Nickel- and lead-free, it plays the cool, silvery counterweight to a wrist of warm gold — or repeats beautifully with more rhodium.
