The 18-inch chain adjusts shorter and closes with a lobster claw clasp, and beneath the hand-finished plating the piece is brass, nickel- and lead-free. Worn at the collarbone it catches light on its own; layered over a longer chain, it becomes the bright first note of the arrangement.
